I am starting my private jewellery making classes (1–2 people per session) again, and it's for the first time in Vancouver. As a multidisciplinary artist, I'm here to hear about your creative vision and help you bring it to life.

What you'll make
3 sessions × 3 hours · In Studio
In the first 2 sessions you go through the whole process of making a simple-form necklace — from the design foundation into practising fundamental techniques: Sawing & Piercing, Hammering & Forming, Filing & Sanding — with the teacher's guidance. In the third session you receive your Special Design and make it yourself from scratch. You leave with 2 necklaces. Silver is ordered based on what you need, at your own cost.
My gift to you: a typographical design of your name, which you will make into a flat silver necklace in your first 3 sessions.
What you'll make
3 sessions × 3 hours · In Studio
In the first 2 sessions you will learn the two main techniques of wax carving — Subtractive Carving and the Build-Up Method — and practise them to make 2 rings of your imagination. After the second session we send your wax pieces for casting in silver (one or both, by your choice). In the third session you learn to polish the silver pieces and make them ready to enjoy! Wax is provided. Casting is at your own cost based on the piece.

Sessions are designed in groups of 3 so you can begin in small steps and continue as far as you want. After each set of 3, book another pack — or pause, practise on your own, and return whenever you're ready for more.
